• We do not charge an adoption fee. All animals are vaccinated against Rabies. All animals must be spayed/neutered within 60 days of the adoption date
• Adoption of dogs is open to residents with homes in Hertford, Bertie, Halifax, Warren, Northampton County areas of North Carolina.
• Adopters must sign a sterilization agreement to have the adopted pet spayed or neutered within 30 days of adoption.
• Adopters must return the proof of sterilization paperwork within seven (7) days of dog being spayed or neutered.
• Dogs that have been spayed/neutered are available for adoption to anyone including out of state residents.
